Together, we will transform simple recycled materials into beautiful spring flowers. The Great Wave

Join us for an inspiring journey into the world of the renowned Japanese artist, Katsushika Hokusai! On Friday, we will immerse ourselves in the ocean's rhythm as we explore his iconic artwork, The Great Wave, through watercolours and ink. In the afternoon, we’ll draw inspiration from his masterpieces, particularly those featuring water, to create our own monoprints inspired by Hokusai's legacy. This class is suitable for beginners. All Art materials are provided.

Fluffy Jewellery

Join us for a day full of fluffy wool and creativity as we explore the traditional art of wet and needle felting! In the morning, we'll have a go at learning the wet felting technique while crafting a felted snowdrop necklace. In the afternoon, we will play with wool fibres a little more and explore making a felted beads bracelet. This class is suitable for beginners. All Art materials are provided.

Spring Birds

Join us on Wednesday to celebrate the arrival of spring and the return of migratory birds! We will explore the world of birds through painting and sewing, using various techniques to create beautiful fabric creations. We will also learn about the concept of negative space in art while enjoying painting with acrylics. Every student will leave with their very own little bird and plenty of new skills to make their own flock. This class is suitable for beginners. All Art materials are provided.

Beaded Suncatchers

Join us for a day full of beads and fun where we'll learn to master the art of beading! Create your very own suncatcher in the shape of a rainbow or moon, and take home a beautiful piece to add sparkle to your room. In the afternoon, we will explore a variety of techniques as we create a mixed-media collage inspired by these celestial themes. This class is suitable for beginners. All Art materials are provided.

Holiday Programme Information
The Crafty Steps Holiday Programme is a skills-based introductory programme, teaching simple Arts and Crafts techniques. Our programme is run in a small creative environment to nurture a passion for learning. The number of students is limited to ten to ensure the best learning outcomes and promote a fun experience for each student.
Each student must bring a drink bottle, morning tea and lunch.
Please pay the fees at the time of booking. We do not refund Holiday Programme fees if your child is unwell or unable to attend. However, we will issue a credit so you can choose another programme or class in the future.
Caregivers are not required to stay during our class time. However, you are welcome to wait till your child is settled in and happy for you to leave.
