About our Parties
What: We offer a range of art or craft projects - Acrylic Pouring, Tiny Tea Cup Gardens, Fairy Houses, Dreamcatchers, Felting the list is endless. Every child takes home their own artwork after the party. (Canvas with acrylic pouring will need to dry for about week.)
When & Where: Saturday or Sunday, long weekends, flexible times after-school available in our Art Studio in New Brighton, Christchurch. Booking is required a minimum of 7 days prior to the party.
Who: Our Arty Birthday Parties are suitable for children from 6* years old. Our minimum number of birthday party guests is 6 and maximum is 12.
Cost: $35 - $39 per child/ guest for two-hour arty party. All art and craft materials are provided and all student will take home their artworks. This includes two hour use of the Art studio space as well as tuition on how to make/create the particular art/craft.
Our studio will have decorations for the occasion and a table for the birthday cake available as well as a fridge (or microwave) with cups, plates and serviettes. Bring your snack food and a yummy cake and we will take care of the rest.
Let us please know if you need to use the space for a longer or you have different idea for your child's birthday party.

Party Options
Tiny Tea Cup Gardens
Age: 5 - 14 Cost: $ 35 per guest
Come and have fun with us making a tiny garden full of plants with creatures which will fit in a proper tea-cup. This is our most popular party option with modelling clay. Great playful party option for kids with big imagination.
Suitable for any age from 5 years old. All materials and tools are provided.
Acrylic Pouring Fun
Age: 7-14 Cost: $39 per guest
Come and experience the magic of Acrylic Pouring. This party option guarantees a great time for any age Birthday Party guests. You will start by picking your colours and learning how to mix paint with a pouring medium to achieve the paint to be fluid. Then you will pour all your paint on one small canvas and Voilà!
The canvasses will take up to a week to dry and will need to be picked up (in one bundle) afterwards. Suitable from seven years old. All materials and tools are provided.
Fairy Houses from
Air-Dried Clay
Age: 6-14. Cost: $39 per guest
Come and have fun with us creating fairy houses from an air-dry clay. Imagine what would happened if you and your friends shrink and fit in a glass jar. What would your fairy house look like? Will it looked like an mushroom or a tiny shoe? Great party option for fairy loving kids with big imagination.

Make Your Dreamcatcher
Age: 6-14. Cost: $39 per guest
Come and make your own dreamcatcher to hang in your room and protect you from bad dreams.
You will learn simple Macrame knots to follow the hoop around and decorate it with beads, feathers and ribbons.

Felt Your Favourite Animal
Age: 7-14. Cost: $39 per guest
Come and learn the basics of needle felting with a group of your friends and create your favourite animal from wool. Bring the picture of your pet and lets turn it to a fluffy brooch.

Macrame Silky Leaves
Age: 7-14. Cost: $35 per guest
Come and learn how to make Macramé leaves for your room décor with nice and easy macramé technique. The repetition and the rhythm of making the macramé knots are very calming and fun to do with a group of your friends. Fabulous party option for creative teens.

Painting With Wool
Age: 7-14. Cost: $39 per guest
Come and learn the basics of 2D needle felting. Learn to felt a 2D picture of your interest ( anime/ movie/ book character, animal etc ) on embroidery hoop. Needle felting is a great option if you want to theme your birthday party with your favourite hero/movie/anime character. Bring the picture of your hero or character and let get busy felting.
