About our Arty Parties
What: We offer a range of art & craft projects, such as Acrylic Pouring, Textured Art, Macrame, Beads for Brides, Needle Felting and more. Each participant takes home their artwork after the party. (Canvas with Acrylic Pouring will need to dry for about week.)
When & Where: Flexible times in the evenings or on Saturday & Sunday afternoons in our Art Studio in New Brighton, Christchurch. Booking is required a minimum of 7 days prior to the party.
Who: Adults (and kids minimum 9 years old in a family group. An adult must accompany any attending kids and must pay for a separate fee)
Cost: From $50 per guest for a two-hour arty party. All art and craft materials are provided for all guests. This includes two-hour use of the Art studio space as well as tuition on how to make/create the particular art/craft.
Our studio will have decorations and a table for your refreshments prepared, paper plates, cups . BYO food & drink. Fridge or microwave available on request.
Afternoon tea/ hot drink will be provided.
Party Options
Acrylic Pouring
Cost: $55 per guest
Come and experience the fun of Acrylic Pouring in our studio with your office team or friends. Engage the entire team and discover hidden talents. You will start by picking your colours and learning how to mix paint with a pouring medium. Then you will pour all your paint on one small canvas and wait for the magic. The canvases will take up to a week to dry and will need to be picked up (in one bundle) afterwards.

Starry Night - Tactile Art
Cost: $50 per guest
Come and experience the texture of soft clay and create your own Starry Night masterpiece with soft clay. Let your fingers explore the fluffy texture of clay when you push and pull the clay into the form of a swirly night sky. Your artwork in A3 size will be ready to take home on the day with all the leftover soft clay.

Botanical Needle Felting
Cost: $55 per guest
Come and learn the basics of needle felting with a group of your friends and create your favourite wildflower arrangement from wool fibre.
Join us in our inspiring workshop and learn the art of needle felting. In this class, you will discover this fascinating technique and also have the chance to expand your creative skills. Don't worry if you're a beginner - this class is designed to make you feel comfortable and confident. Your tutor will supply everything you need, ensuring a stress-free and enjoyable experience.

Beads for Brides
Cost: $65 per guest
Whether you’re designing something for yourself or crafting a piece for a loved one beading is great fun. It is also one of the most popular styles of jewellery-making in the world and it’s also one of the easiest to learn. Each student will make a colourful bead necklace, a pair of earrings to take home and lots of inspiration to continue experimenting at home.
